Even in broad daylight Yosemite Valley’s dramatic landscape seems almost too overwhelming to be real. Under the light of a full moon it becomes otherworldly. At Yosemite’s 4,000 to over 8,000 feet elevations, moonlight permeates the thin atmosphere to reveal every facet of the landscape. Its granite cliffs glow in the silvery light like a moonscape.
With our Full Moon at Sentinel Dome Tour, you get all the benefits of our Sunset at Sentinel Dome Tour plus the chance to see the sun setting in the west as the moon rises over Half Dome, bathing the valley in a mystical light. The experience truly is magical, and the memory of Yosemite in the moonlight will stay with you for a lifetime.
The Full Moon Tour includes a picnic dinner with a deli salad, fresh fruit, jumbo cookie and your choice of:
· Roast turkey wrap with cranberry mayonnaise
· Tri-tip wrap with pepper jack cheese and Caesar dressing
· Veggie wrap with avocado, tomato, cucumber, alfalfa sprouts and roasted red peppers
· Turkey sandwich
· Assortment of sliced meats, cheeses, baguette and lavosh.
We provide water, soft drinks or sparkling cider. You are welcome to bring a bottle of wine to sip as the sun sets over Yosemite.

"The moon is looking down into the canyon, and how marvelously the great rocks kindle to her light! Every dome, and brow, and swelling boss touched by her white rays, glows as if lighted with snow." John Muir
